ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY YOUTH ART CONTEST

Started in 2006 by the United States Congress, Endangered Species Day
is a celebration of our nation’s imperiled plants and wildlife
and wild places. Find out about the Youth Art Contest.

It’s not too early to start planning community activities for Endangered Species Day, May 20, 2011. A fun feature of Endangered Species Day is the Youth Art Contest. Organized by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Endangered Species Coalition, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art/ University of New Orleans, teachers can include the Endangered Species Day Youth Art Contest as a featured activity for Youth Art Month in March.
